Programmable Nano-bio Interfaces

Programmable nano–bio interfaces – especially in the design of vertical nanostructures optimized to facilitate biomolecular delivery, genome editing, and cellular modulation – have enormous potential to build capacity over a range of collaborating disciplines associated with biomedical research.

Controllable patterning is created by using various lithography methods, including photolithography, electron-beam lithography, nanoimprint lithography, and colloidal/nanosphere lithography – all of which are used to create customized lithographical masks onto the surface of the substrate for the subsequent dry/wet etching of silicon.
